School Meals

The majority of our children sit down at lunch daily to a healthy, nutritious school lunch provided by our local supplier: Willoughby Foods.  From September 2014, the Government pledged to provide school lunches free of charge for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.  However, although your child may be entitled to this, you MUST order meals in advance via the Willoughby Foods Website or else you will be required to provide your child with a packed lunch in line with the school policy.  Once your child moves into Year Three, they can still order a school lunch at a cost of £2.30 per day.  There are three options daily: a meat-based meal, a vegetarian meal and a packed-lunch option.  Sample menus and online ordering can be accessed via their website: https://www.willoughby-foods.co.uk/

Should you have any questions or concerns with regards to this please speak to a member of the school’s administration team, who can discuss any dietary requirements with our meal providers.

Snacks

Fresh fruit is provided for all pupils in Reception to Year 2 pupils free of charge by the Government.  Milk is also provided for pupils up until their fifth birthday.  After this it is available only if pre-ordered and paid for via the Cool Milk Scheme.  More details about this are available from the school office.
